Wanted to post a review after living here over 2 years.

Positive: Staff is very nice and helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond to issues. Apartments are newer and walking distance to many things. Building is secure and feels safe.

Cons: Noise... I dont hear much from people on the sides of me but above me and below me its bad. Person below me constantly slams their front door and it shakes my unit. I can be sitting on my sofa and feel it. It also is very loud. I have mentioned it prior to management but it hasnt improved. Person above me is a stomper. I can hear them walking around loud and clear and something squeaks/rattles when they walk. I use a fan to try to make some white noise but it doesnt help. It's a apartment so I expect to hear some walking but its much louder than average footsteps.

Apartments do get pretty warm come spring/summer and ac is a must. We do have ac ports in our unit which is nice.

As a Blackbird tenant for the past year, I had a very positive living experience here overall:

1. The property itself is very new, with well-decorated interior. My unit has wooden floor, modern washer and dryer, and large windows which provides good natural lighting.
2. The leasing office is always very responsive. Big shoutouts to Alex, who helped us move in, resolve multiple issues during our tenancy, and move out. She is always willing to helping, can deal with everything in a well-organized manner, and makes us feel at home.
3. The maintenance team is professional and deals with any issue quickly.
4. The residents here are mostly friendly, and also keep a good distance. We don’t have any issue regarding late night noise or uncivil behaviors.

I would say Blackbird would be an amazing place to live if you like the quiet and cozy vibe in downtown Redmond. We really enjoy our stay here!

I lived at Blackbird for about two years, and overall my experience was very positive!

Pros:

• The complex is well maintained and safe. I was able to keep my bike in locked storage and felt good knowing it would be there when I wanted to ride it.
• Units are soundproofed pretty well. I lived in two separate units and I never heard a peep from any of my adjacent neighbors in either unit.
• Leasing staff and maintenance were great! Alex and Natalya were very personable and helpful at all times.
• Location is awesome. The building has easy access to the Sammamish River Trail and plenty of shops downtown.

Cons:

• Was charged for 5 gallons of paint on move out and cleaning service even though the apartment was thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Not sure what happened there but it wasn’t enough to ruin my overall attitude towards living at Blackbird.
• Expensive as frick.

Overall: 4/5 Would live here again 👍
