I’m updating my experience to 1 star because the “gel polish” on 3 of my toes have chipped barely at the 2 week mark which is insane. I’ve never had gel polish chip off my nails before 3 weeks.
The cuticle on my left big toe is extremely scarred from the nail tech cutting it too low with nippers.
Overall, I had a negative experience and I will not be back nor recommend this place to anyone.
—————— I relocated Tacoma from Chicago and I was looking for a place to treat my sister and I for a relaxing experience.
The salon was understaffed so my sister had to wait 45 minutes for her pedicure to begin.
The nail tech I was working with was sweet but she rushed through the pedicure and cute my cuticle too low on my right foot and cut skin and led to my cuticle to bleed. Due to the speed she was moving, the gel polish is really messy.
Including a 15% tip my total came out to $200.10 for 2 Volcano Spa Pedicures. I enjoyed the massage but the overall experience was a 3/5 stars.
I’m on the hunt for a true 5 star nail experience.
