This store is a great addition to the quaint downtown Sumner area with its eclectic vibe and affordable pricing, however the customer service I have personally experienced has been quite rude.
I’ve been a regular customer since it opened and have literally only been greeted once, yet while I’m shopping and any other customer walks in the clerk always says hello to them. I finally contacted a manager to let them know this had been happening each time I shopped there and how awkward and unwelcome it made me feel. She apologized and assured me the staff would be retrained in customer service skills.
However I was in the store on Sunday 8/2/20 and the young woman at the counter once again ignored me and greeted every other customer.
I believe GW supports many worthwhile causes with the funds generated from this shop which is a main reason I continue to support it. However the customer service is literally one of the worst I’ve ever experienced which is a shame in an otherwise very nice charitable boutique.
