I recently took 3 area rugs, and a coat in for cleaning. Drop off was easy. They gave me a date to pick the items up, and I was done. When I showed up I was told the items were not ready, despite it being two days past the promised date, but no big. I came back a second time and the items were ready. I paid $199.00, and was on my way. I might as well have burned that money. Not a single item was cleaned to my satisfaction. The jacket had some sort of tissues wadded up in the pocket. Shouldn't the pockets be checked prior to cleaning? A small runner was as dirty as when I took it in, and a larger rug still has the stain that I hoped they could get out. I know some stains cannot be removed, but if they were unable to get the stain out, shouldn't I have been told? One runner was fine, though it was the least problematic item. My takeaway is: don't patronize this dry cleaner. There doesn't seem to be any attention to detail. They don't seem to be interested in repeat customers. It is just overall bad service. That is sad, because we need a reputable dry cleaner in town. Did they really think I wouldn't notice the big stain when I unrolled the "cleaned" carpet? I am posting a photo showing the stain after cleaning. Don't wste your time or money.
