I purchased a solar panel system from Blue Raven a few years ago. I recently had an issue where my system stopped communicating with PGE due to a router breaking. Blue Raven has been absolutely unhelpful in my attempts to resolve this issue. They told me to call the manufacturer, and when I told them the manufacturer will only take calls from installers, they essentially shrugged their shoulders. I got no credit for the power my system produced during the sunniest months of the year causing my electric bill to spike. I told then I was afraid to buy a replacement unit off the Internet for fear of buying the wrong one and they basically said sorry and good luck. To me this is unacceptable customer service from a company I paid over $20,000 to purchase solar panels from. I would not recommend Blue Raven as they do not stand behind the products they sell. In my opinion, they should have sent me a replacement unit free of charge as they only seem to cost a couple of hundred dollars.

So far we have had nothing but problems with the installation of our solar panels. The crew did not show up on time and left a huge mess each day. One day they left for an hour in the middle of the day for a break but left their van blocking the driveway with all the doors open and tools/parts strewn everywhere. Panels have been up for over a month and are not generating any energy yet. We have been waiting for them to come back to "finish energizing" the system and have had our appointment rescheduled several times. Also, we recently had our gutters cleaned and were told that there was a pile of tools and debris left on the roof. The panels look good but unsure if they're going to work yet and customer service has been sub-par.

From the very beginning with our sales rep, Bryan, Blue Raven has really exceeded our expectations. While the process to get to installation has been long, BRS has been so transparent and kept up in the loop every step of the way. The installation team was incredibly professional and polite and we were happy to have them around! I cannot recommend BRS enough!
