This bank is a reminder of old style banking where the tellers and branch manager know your name and are always available to help you. That's been especially important during this pandemic when the branch manager is monitoring the lobby for social distancing and really controlling the access.

This is the most dysfunctional bank I’ve ever encountered. Appalling inter-departmental communication. The staff are friendly and welcoming but hampered by the fact this bank is a complete mess. Avoid at all costs.

They actually brag about no longer having "quality assurance mystery shopping" so prepare yourself for long lines, people with broken English, plenty of lazy bankers sitting behind you "on the phone" while you wait for the one teller to sound out every "policy term" and If you cut in line? No problem, they'll let the customers hash it out before doing anything remotely professional for the 3 people patiently waiting. The most uncivilized group of incompetent bankers in downtown San Mateo.
