I joined this studio about 6 months ago and I can’t say enough good things about my experiences. I love how devoted Brian is to teaching. He has helped me understand my poses better than anyone else has done in the 20+years I’ve been doing yoga. I also love the differences in teaching in Sarah’s class.. she adds more core instruction and her knowledge and instruction in yoga helps me keep my focus on my body and my breath. One of the main reasons I joined this gym was because it also offered a lift class. This is a whole body workout that is centered around the core. I have learned so much about my body in this class definitely found muscles in my core that I didn’t know existed. This place offers the whole package for getting in shape the right way. I’m loving my transformation so far and excited to see what the future brings!
body tonic is the rare (maybe only in sf?) studio where the instructor circulates the room and helps me with my poses, rather than just doing his own practice himself from the front of the room.
this is a game-changer for me and makes me get sooooo much more out of class than when i go to classes that feel basically like doing youtube yoga in-person.
this also makes it super motivating to go to class, since you know you'll be getting personalized help & attention there.
brian is very knowledgeable and caring, and absolutely makes you feel like a priority.
