Tired it once and won't be back. Guy working the front counter was not friendly or inviting at all. Took quite awhile to take our order because he was getting a large order ready, understandable. However you can greet customers waiting and let them know you'll be with them in a min, instead he just seemed irritated. After placing our order and paying for 2 smash burgers, he told us it would be at least a 20 min wait. Could have told us that at the beginning. Then while waiting and others were ordering. If they asked for a burger he would be irritated and tell them it would at least be a 45-60min wait and that they don't like making burgers because they are a BBQ place. Here is advice, take it off the menu! We were there just before 5pm dinner time and all the BBQ items were no longer available except 1, so what do they expect??? Will for ever be going back to Matt's BBQ which is far more superior to this place. Save your money and time!

Their Collard / Yam mix is so darn delicious! Mac n Cheese is super creamy and flavorful! Great tasting sauces and meats! I've been coming here for a while, and had to get my fix once again! Never any disappointments ever! The sides match the flavors of the meats which is so hard to come by in Portland. I had the Buffalo Chicken & Blue Cheese sausage along with the Pulled Pork on this round. Pickles, & pickled onions are delightful!

You’ll love Botto’s. BBQ means it was smoked at a low temp for a long time. This place sells BBQ. Most places with BBQ in the name do not actually sell BBQ. It’s crock pot meat, or baked, or some other offensive thing. Not Botto’s. Botto’s sells BBQ.
