Do not pay for the “snake river” internet package. It’s just as slow as the free wifi. Other than that, it’s a beautiful place.

Had a mishap landing on the runway. The host at the camp came and helped us carry the tail as we pushed it a safe tie down. He was extremely kind, helpful, and it was greatly appreciated and needed. We were stranded until after dark. He made sure we were safe and had water. Thank you!!!! NOTE. There are large rocks on the runway which can damage planes. Snapped the spring in our tail wheel.

The far end of the campground is so far from the toilets I had to drive. Unacceptable in my view. My mini camper does not have a bathroom.||The maintenance worker came to a screeching halt and pretty much lit into me about my having an unacceptable tent erected. Was disrespectful in both his demeanor and attitude. I had erected a toilet/shower tent with a mesh floor in it so I would not again have to drive to the toilets at 3 AM. Rather I could put my chemical toilet in it. Simply put he was rude. All he had to do was speak with respect and not come on like a storm trooper. I simply complied and bit my tongue but at 73 I've rarely been treated like that.||Now to the positive. It was a nice location, things were clean and the sites are pretty nice were one nearer the amenities. ||IF booking I'd pay attention to site assignment. The Map on the KOA website gives a good representation of the campground. It is narrow and long.
