I saw Dr. Bradley Ping in Pasadena for my moderate sciatic problems in late 2014. His style is pretty subtle – he’s not a bone cruncher. He had me remove my shirt and sit while he used a sensitive differential thermometer to sense vertebra that were in misalignment (apparently, there is a small temperature difference left–to–right at the site). He then confirmed the misalignment with his fingers and had me get on his tilting table. He had me standing/leaning forward at about a 60 degree angle. A couple of quick pushes, and he was done. You could hear the things pop in place during the early visits. Really no pain, but the pushes always come with an “OOOOOOF.” All in all, just about 10 minutes for each of my visits. He has his patients take a short walk afterward to settle things in.
I think I saw him about 10 times over about as many weeks, and am still feeling pretty good. Scheduling was good - I never got a chance to read the magazines in his waiting room.
Brad is warm, friendly, and effective.
