This place is a hidden gem. Lost in time I suppose. Great for day use with large covered picnic area basketball hoops or volleyball hiking some trails and lots of space. Perfect for a family reunion.

Great place to hike even during more winter weather, the trees provided enough cover most of the time to prevent friends and I from getting soaked. Plenty of plant growth and trails to explore, not to mention birdsong fills the air almost everywhere we walked. A few areas are saturated with water, however that is to be expected when when goes during snow and rain season.

The park looked really pretty and maintained which is why I am not giving the park a bad review. I was just disappointed with my experience. I had my dog with me and thought I would go for a quick hike. I pulled into the park and a large dog started chasing my car, the owner not in sight. Further up I saw the owner walking with another large dog also off leash. I did not feel comfortable walking with my dog (on it's leash). Since there were no other cars I think it was the camp host. I was really bummed.
