When I first met Dr McInnes he was friendly and kind. I was hurting and he listened to me attentively. He examined my foot and ordered xrays. He first tried pt and meds. They did not do the job so he discussed other options with me and explained the pros and cons. I made the confident decision for him to do the surgery. Within 10 days he did the surgery (fixing tendons, removing bone spurs and correcting a hammer toe.) My experience with the out patient clinic in the same building as Dr McInnes office had a great staff (check-in person and the nurses who prepped me for surgery.) The surgery went very well. Post surgery was almost exactly as Dr McInnes told me. I used a knee walker and with 10 days I could walk (carefully). Its been five months since the surgery. Thanks to Dr McInnes my foot is strong. I have no pain, tendons are strong - no more ankle sprains and the hammer toe is strait and no more pain. His nurse Dee was also great scheduling, teaching me to how use ankle braces and ankle boots.
