With those two goals in mind, I set out to downtown LA to find my ideal ring shop.
I looked all around in the shops on Hill and decided to stop into the California Jewelry Mart which is a large building that has many floors of jewelers.
I stopped by five different places, chatted with the owners, saw their designs, got prices, and took notes.
The last one I walked into was Neil's store, Diamond Bridal Rings, and I was immediately put at ease...this was where I was going to invest my money.
When you walk in to other shops, you feel pressured and it can sometimes be intimidating/stressful. On the other hand, Neil (and his wife) helped me feel comfortable throughout the entire process.
Neil listened to what I wanted, what I thought I needed, and understood my budget.

This is how the process went down after I decided that Neil was the person I wanted to craft my ring:
I picked my diamond from Neil's great selection. It's smart to choose the diamond first so that the ring can be designed around that specific stone.
I gathered all of my ideas/pictures/sketches and sent Neil some final comments via email.
Next, he created a 3D rendering of my ring and emailed it to me. I sent back comments, he updated, and then it was time for production. He was in communication with me the entire time and I felt very comfortable with him.
About 2 weeks later, Neil invited me down to his shop to pick up the ring.
I saw the diamond I chose mounted on my custom setting and I was BLOWN away.
Neil truly has a gift for taking your ideas and combining it with his experience to create a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ring that will surely impress your fiancé, but also get all her friends talking.
