Jeremy and his crews were professional, approachable and thorough with every step of the process. Communication was timely and clear to the point that when an issue came up with the SCE they worked on resolving it and then contacted us before we even knew what the problem was. We have a wonderful system that functions so well that when there was a recent outage in our neighborhood we were unaware because the back up battery system seamlessly kicked in without so much as a flicker!

Everyone at Brighten Solar has been so very pleasant and helpful to work with, from the design of the system to installation and operation. We chose them initially because our neighbors were so happy with their work, and because we wanted to support a local Goleta company. Prompt, professional, personal service----who could ask for more?

In Feb/Mar 2023, I began the effort to add solar to my house just before the N.M. 2.0 cut-off in April. After getting a few local quotes, Brighten Solar stood out 'heads above the rest' with best pricing, a very professional quote, good answers to all my questions, and a feeling that they'd be the ones to be able to get N.M. 2.0 approval before the April cutoff. Within 1 month’s time, the contract was signed, plans were submitted to both the county and SCE, and NM 2.0 approval was granted!! Because of EXTENSIVE solar submittals in SB just prior to the NM 2.0 cutoff (mine included), and a ton of newly garnered business at Brighten, their install was somewhat delayed, but this was fine with me since they succeeded in getting me in under the 2.0 wire.

Now that the install is behind me, I wanted to report how flawless the complete process was working with Brighten. Everyone I communicated with was extremely professional and timely with their business, and even Jeremy (the COO) got involved with many of the process details, including personally answering many questions I had that came up over this solar project. He always had understandable answers to my questions, and was always quick to get back. There were also many others within the Brighten organization that assisted with all aspects of the project, making it easy and less complex for the customer.

The install was completed within 1 day, was professionally done, the technicians were clean and organized with their tasks, and they even ran the solar panel power through the attic space so I do not have exposed conduit running across my roof!! ☺ The final commissioning of the solar system was also flawless. Jeremy was actually the one that came to the house and assisted me with system start-up, Enphase App review and use, and answered any last questions I had. He also presented me with a complete binder of ALL documentation generated over the project’s time-line that I can use for future tax rebate purposes, etc….an unexpected bonus!

I’ve already started recommending Brighten to friends and family that are in the market for solar/battery systems, as my experience with them was stellar. If I ever end up adding a battery system to my house, Brighten will be the one to call!
