After Kim left, everything went downhill. I honestly don't have enough characters to describe everything that went wrong so I'm going to leave a VERY brief description here and you can read the rest if you want the whole story. TL;DR Someone stole me from the technician I requested, made very obvious mistakes which I frequently pointed out and asked for fixes, she either didn't understand or just chose not to listen and just kept making it worse. After 5 times trying to correct it, I just gave up and said it was fine and that I would "fix it at home". yes, I literally told her I would FIX IT MYSELF to which she saw no problem with. There was another lady who just hovered over me and stared the entire time, saying nothing to me or giving any help to the lady who was clearly messing up my eyebrows. I left with JACKED up eyebrows and short $50 (yes, they made us pay BEFORE they worked on me so I tipped assuming they would do a good job).
Full story: I requested threading and henna tinting for my eyebrows to be done by a specific technician (I only knew their name, not what they looked like). Unbeknownst to me, somebody completely different took me to a chair and started threading. They never asked what shape I wanted, they just started threading. She finished and asked how I liked it and I didn't like it at all. She shaped my eyebrow into something different than my natural shape but I forgave it because I didn't go out of my way to ask for a certain shape and I was also getting henna so I figured the shape would look different with the tint anyway.
She starts putting on the tint and her method was SO weird. She wasn't brushing it on like how Kim did, she was doing this bizarre dab-wipe-dab dab-wipe-dab-wipe wipe- thing. After putting on the ink, she shows it to me and it is the wildest shape I've ever seen. It's very thick on the inner corner, and has no arch at all. I tell her this and she "fixes it" by making EVERYTHING thicker (she's literally a centimeter outside of my entire eyebrow- bottom, top, and sides). Again, I tell her I need an ARCH. She again adds more (doesn't even remove the incredible amount of excess!!!) and I now have slightly more arch. She clearly does not care about any of the requests I make so I literally give up and tell her to just leave it on after the 4th time of her "fixing" it (aka making it worse and worse).
She says she's going to leave it on for 2-3 minutes. I inform her that every time I had them done previously, we had to leave the tint on for 30 minutes (yes, incredibly long time, but my eyebrows are very dark and for whatever reason it takes a long time for them to absorb enough tint- it's never been a problem before, they just work on other clients while I wait). She completely disregards this and says she will wipe it off in 2-3 minutes anyways to check. She comes back 3 minutes later, wipes it off, and shows it to me. It's CLEARLY way too light. Nothing NEAR what shade my eyebrow is. Why she even bothered to show it to me idk because she should be able to see the colors don't match at all. I voice to her that it's way too light and reiterate that we should leave it on for 30 minutes. She again, says she'll leave it on for another 3 minutes. She comes back 3 minutes later as promised and low and behold! They're way too light.
I don't even have enough characters to finish this so I will post a photo with the rest of the story. The eyebrow picture is how I left. Everything that isn't straight black is the tint that never got dark enough.
