Bruce Gorlick has wonderful bedside manner, HOWEVER, he prescribed my 2 year old (1 1/2 at the time) daughter a cream called imiquimod 5% for a plantar wart on her foot. The dosage called for I application to the affected area Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 6 weeks. her foot became extremely inflamed which led to cellulitis. I took her to the ER in which the doctor informed me that this particular medication is used for GENITAL WARTS ONLY!!!!! It has done nothing but severely irritate her foot and has caused her cellulitis which in turn, if not treated properly, could lead to amputation of her foot! Low and behold, THE WART STILL ISN'T GONE AFTER THE WHOLE 6 WEEK REGIMEN WAS COMPLETED!!! I personally would NOT recommend this man to anyone with children! He also told me that if the meds didn't work, he would have to burn her wart off with ACID when it could actually be frozen off with nitrogen!!! He also told me that this wart was so contagious that it needed to be wrapped at all times, when in reality, the only way to catch this wart is to have an open wound that touches it. I would NEVER recommend this man to anyone. I am extremely disappointed in this man and may very well file a lawsuit.
