After checking Yelp, my BF's mom & I decided to try out the salon based on the reviews. I called ahead & made an appointment for 2 regular mani/pedi's. The shop was pretty quiet with no wait & we were able to get started right away. The water was on the colder side of lukewarm. Disappointment #1. I asked the technician to do a simple dot/heart design on my big toe, but was told there was no time for it (I think she just didn't know how to do it). Disappointment #2. When our toes were completed we had to remind the technicians of the mani's. My BF's mom was taken to a table & hers began right away, time had passed so the chairs fulled up & I had to have mine done in the same chair I got my pedi. Disappointment #3. If you've ever done this, you know it's not comfortable & what kind of quality it brings to your mani..my nails were cut unevenly & then filed cookedly. When a regular customer of theirs walked in, I was then shuffled to a table to finish the mani where the technician resorted to scratching off my cuticles with her own nails.. Disappointment #4. Bottom line: Good pedi, but I will NOT be coming back. They cater more to acrylic nails, which, I do not do.
