Went to Bucky’s to have them tighten a loose bolt on my headers. Before I brought my car there It had a head on the bolt it was just loose. I heard the manager tell his employee not to use a hammer gun on it or it will break. Of course the employee didn’t listen. On top of all that they wanted to charge $125 per hour and charge me for new bolts even though they broke them. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

spent over $2000 on repairs that were not necessary because they misdiagnosed the issue, just for them to try to charge me an additional $400 on something that “might not work” and if it doesn’t I’d still have to pay full price for them trying to fix it. The amount of time they wasted, the days I had to take Ubers to work etc all because they didn’t know what was wrong. A waste of money, a waste of time, and they wouldn’t even make it right by trying to fix what was actually wrong the entire time. I received no refund for the pointless “repairs” they made and basically just got scammed. I only went here because I just moved to Washington so I didn’t have a reliable mechanic or know anyone really, if you don’t want to get screwed over please go anywhere else don’t get scammed here or at any of their locations. If they just made it right by fixing the problem for free since they charged me so much on the misdiagnosis I could’ve accepted that but my car is the same and I’m just in a money hole now. I’ll repeat it one more time: don’t be like me, go anywhere that isn’t a Bucky’s or you will regret it.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Bucky’s Tacoma Sprague (at 6th Ave and Sprague Ave).
I had a problem with my exhaust system. I took my car to several different auto repair shops to get estimates of the cost to fix the problem.
Bucky’s at 6th Ave and Sprague Ave told me that I needed a whole new exhaust system and quoted me a price about $3,700.
Two other repair shops told me that all I needed to have done was to replace a short section of the exhaust pipe system behind the catalytic converter with a flex pipe and quoted me prices of close to $200.
In summary, I cannot recommend Bucky’s at 6th Ave and Sprague Ave.
I can highly recommend Expert Muffler & Auto Repair on South Sprague Ave.
