The people working are nice and had zero bad experiences with the staff. It’s unfortunate that the way selling clothes at these places has changed so much. It’s greedy now and unfortunately just is what it is. Clothes aren’t high ticket items anymore and honestly should not be unless it is for a quality reason.
People aren’t understanding that clothes don’t hold as much value anymore and it’s just a price tag.
Side note - majority of the customers at this one seem to be extremely entitled and snobby without much of a grasp on the real world outside of social media.
The staff was fantastic, let me reiterate. Maybe the people who feel they were mean should look inward.
The new system of selling is laughable. You walk in and they have you scan a QR code and tell you to “walk around” or “grab a coffee” while you wait for your turn to sell. What they’re neglecting to understand is that walking around or grabbing a coffee when you have multiple bags or bins of clothing with you is impossible. So now instead of one line for sellers, you have a bunch of people standing around confused, plus the added wait time of figuring out who is supposed to go next.
If you don’t want a line through the store, institute the same process as Plato’s Closet where people drop off their items then come back when the buying process is finished.
