I was very impressed by the service that Rob in the Archery Dept provided. He expeditiously put a new cable and string on a crossbow that a friend loaned my daughter in law for the upcoming deer season. He showed me how to check the timing adjustment of the wheels on the bow after the cable and string are broke in and offered to reset the timing if needed after break in. Thanks Rob for exemplary customer service!
We drove all the way from California and this Cabela's is definitely worth a visit while driving to Reno! They have a huge selection of outdoor gear and apparel, but what really sets them apart is the unique selection of items you won't find anywhere else. It's a great place to find that special gift for the outdoorsman (or woman) in your life.
But Cabela's is more than just a store. The aquarium and animal displays are amazing - a great way to break up the shopping trip and keep the kids entertained. They even have a small shooting gallery, perfect for letting the little ones burn off some energy.
Overall, Cabela's is a fun and unique shopping experience. Highly recommend!
