I experienced a minor car accident that resulted in some damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately, the repair process turned into a frustrating ordeal. The repair shop kept my vehicle for three weeks, assuring me that it was ready for pickup. However, shortly after my wife drove it for a few hours, it started displaying error codes and became unsafe to drive. We promptly returned the vehicle to the shop, only for them to clear the codes and return it to us without addressing the underlying issue.
To our dismay, the vehicle started showing error codes again, this time related to transmission problems that were completely new and unrelated to the initial accident. I took the car back to the shop for the third time, hoping for a resolution. However, their response was disheartening. They informed me that the transmission was in bad shape but refused to repair it, claiming it had no connection to the initial accident.
What adds to my frustration is that I have records from the shop confirming that they checked the transmission each time the vehicle was brought in, and it consistently passed without any faults. Despite this evidence, they are insisting that I pick up my vehicle without addressing the transmission issue, even though it originated from their shop. This lack of concern for my family's safety, as my wife and kids rely on this vehicle, is deeply troubling.
Furthermore, I had to bear the cost of the rental car out of my own pocket throughout this ordeal. This situation has left me feeling frustrated and let down by the repair shop's lack of accountability and commitment to customer satisfaction.
My car was returned unwashed and with grease marks (pink) all over the body and mirror, the car wash could not take them off. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
