OMG! California Dermatology Institute is the Rolls Royce of customer service. From my 1st call through my first appointment, I could not have had a better experience, I will recommend CDI to everyone! Thank you for the superior customer service!

This review is a warning to anyone considering going to California Dermatology institute, in particular, Dr. Navid Ezra himself. I had the very unfortunate experience of having Dr. Navid Ezra perform a Mohs surgery on an incorrect location of my nose. He missed the cancer/biopsy site by over 2 cm.! Even though multiple staff members at his office were apologetic about this, he was not, and he took no accountability and offered no apology. This ordeal began in Nov. 2023 (biopsy @ the Huntington Park location and then surgery @ the Thousand Oaks location) and I have just now (May 2024) had my cancer removed (by a different dermatologist), with possibly a more disfiguring outcome than if he had done the surgery correctly the first time. Over 6 months of pain, discomfort, and worry that the Basal Cell Carcinoma had gone untreated and the stress of having to go through another surgery, it has been quite a nightmare. I would advise anyone to avoid this dermatologist. He is careless and more interested in the number of patients he gets in his waiting room than the actual quality and accuracy of his work.
