They just want your money, don't expect anything from them, if they can, they'll take your money.
Blizzard is going to our weekend we had planned and will make impossible to travel, get there or out of there. We couldn't cancel for any reason as cited by other people by their 'policies', we tried re-booking two weeks later since they have full availability all next month (paying +60) and they denied it anyways since they would keep the rest of the money. Thanks for making us lose ~1300 USD, even made me consider using hotels instead of airbnb, you can cancel if you can't go!
Please stay with local families since they're people and care of you, I've met so great hosts when they're the only owners.

We stayed over the weekend in one of the houses serviced by this company. House address 1121 Robinhood Boulevard. We travel a lot and rent a lot of different places. It was the worst experience ever. The house is very old and needs renovation. But this is not as terrible as the cleanliness of the house and the terrible state of dishes, furniture and other things. We were traveling with two small children and such a mess is totally unacceptable for guests. After we contacted the office of the company, they were in no hurry to help us and we spent hours trying to get some kind of answer from them, but they didn’t care at all. This is a terrible service for quite a lot of money and the most annoying thing is that no one wants to be responsible for this, and even if you complain, no one cares, since they have already taken your money and do not care about the rest. Trust me, you must avoid this company and houses what they host.

Firmly do not recommend Vacasa. The home we stayed in was dirty, dated, and dangerous for several reasons. The entrance has non-slip strips across the steps, and none of the strips are flat on the stairs (see photos), they are worn and jagged, so this is a major tripping hazard in general and extra dangerous if you are carrying a child or luggage (which we were). Entering the house the first thing we noticed was the smell. There was an extreme dog pee scent. The floors are dirty and haven't been mopped in awhile. Dead bugs and hair in every corner. Majority of the furnishings are dated, broken, and stained. The kitchen is disgusting, the cabinets are slimy and have not been wiped down in a very long time. Appliances on the counters are dusty and dirty. Inside the kitchen cabinets there are minimal options for certain things - for example, no tupperware, no Seran Wrap or aluminum foil etc. Very disappointing as these items would be very cheap to keep stocked. The Master Bedroom bed was way too firm and difficult to sleep on. There are also no curtains in any of the bedrooms so sleeping past 6am wasn't an option. The Master Bathroom shower is old and tiny. Every single shower did not have any ledges or areas to place products. I had to place mine on the floor of the shower. The second bedroom on the first floor has a Full size mattress on a Queen size frame, and it is very noticeable since I whacked my leg on it several times getting in and out of the ridiculously tall bed. The bathroom next to this bedroom does not have a shower curtain, nor shower rod. Both were found in the laundry room, so clearly this was broken by prior guests and never fixed. I called upon arrival once I discovered this, and was not contacted until a full 2 days later (the night before checkout). Now for the upstairs. The carpet is DISGUSTING. The dog pee stench is horrible and there are multiple visible dog pee stains. There is a table with 3 seats under it (the 4th seat is MIA) all stained and disgusting and the couch looks nasty. There is also a broken upside down pool table missing three legs. This is extremely dangerous to have a toddler in this area as this is right across from the weird "playroom" that has no ventilation and dirty, old toys. There is an area with games and books but none of the games have all of the pieces to be able to play them. Don't book this in general, but definitely don't if you have small children. Weird to call this place "kid safe" when there are no outlet covers (also a cheap, easy thing to have) and when they don't even bother doing the bare minimum to keep it clean and sanitary. This place was an utter letdown. The listing photos have been altered to make it look better or were taken a while ago, but in reality this place needs a LOT of work to make it acceptable to stay in, let alone charge anything near what they are charging. Vacasa, please listen to these reviews and DO SOMETHING. You have no business charging what you charge for this. This place has so much potential but clearly Vacasa does not care.
