They're probably one of the worst property management companies I've ever had contact with. I left multiple voicemails and sent multiple messages on Craigslist interested in a place in Nipomo. Weeks later, I got a call that it wasn't ready to show, but they'll call me when it was. I kept on eye on their showings list just in case. I never got a call back to schedule a viewing, it never showed up on their showing list, and it is no longer available. Also, the timings for their showings are absolutely ridiculous. Open house is only open for 30 minutes, only on weekdays, and in the morning.

I am satisfied with California West property management due to their customer service and attention to detail. I have been helped by Liliana and I am currently still applying to find my dream studio but I got to appreciate that she has helped me every step of the way to make sure I finish the application process properly.

This Review is long overdue but Thinking back, I was treated very unfairly a couple of years ago by this rental management company. I applied for a home in Grover Beach in which I met all the income and credit requirements for and attended a open house before submitting application. They ran my credit, took my money, and never followed up with me up until about 2 weeks after when I called them to check the status. They told me that the owner had not approved me for the rental. I asked why and the lady on the phone did not have an answer for me and said she didn’t know exactly why but she will find out and get back to me the following day. She never called back so I called again and didn’t even care about the rental property anymore, but I asked if she could please email me my credit report. She never followed up with that either. 2 years later, I hear from a former employee that I was denied because of my age. Pretty sure that’s illegal, and I haven’t had any similar issues like that with other management company in the area. So with that being said, I do not recommend this company as they lack professionalism and integrity in the line of work that they do. You are better off looking elsewhere if good customer service and honesty is what you seek in a reliable and trustworthy management company. Very very disappointed to have someone like this in our area, there is a reason they are at the bottom of the pecking order in SLO County in their line of work.
