My experience started out great with multiple associates asking me how I was doing and checking up on me to make sure I was finding everything ok. Then, the outcome changed a little when I went to check out. I’m pretty sure the manager on duty (possibly store manager?) was the one who had checked me out. She asked how my day was and if I found everything ok. I proceeded to answer her politely, and then asked a simple question of if I could use a coupon. The response I received was a little less happy and a little more uncomfortable. I understand not all coupons can be taken, from having retail management experience myself, but there are right ways you can turn away coupons that consist of less sass.
She then proceeded to ask me if I was signed up for their subscription or something alike. I said no, and that the only thing I’ve done was the online one. She then looked at me like I was stupid...let’s just say, if I didn’t enjoy Calvins as much as I do, I wouldn’t have bought anything from this lady. And I probably won’t plan on returning to her. At least she told me to have a good day ? 🤷🏻♂️
