Alway a great place to go for a lake day. Camping is always great there. Never hard to get a campsite.

DONT CAMP HERE! If you can avoid camping here I would highly recommend you do. Campsites aren’t well kept, weeds and tall grass full of foxtails, covered in dog poop and lots of trash. We even found a feminine pad in our site which was disgusting. Bathrooms don’t have soap or liners for toilets. Men’s bathroom is closed so they have porter potties which smell disgusting. Even just passing it to get to the women’s restroom is unbearable, I can’t imagine being inside. There is no toilet paper there either or anywhere to wash your hands. Another thing, we were told it would be a certain amount of money up to 12 people, one car included. Well, they charged $35 per car per night. Total rip off. Not very clear on that. We payed close to $700 for a place that can’t even provide the basic necessities. Oh, and if you even try questioning it they hit you with the “we are privately owned” meaning they can do and say whatever they want. Their staff needs to be properly trained in how to deal with costumers and explain everything clearly so we are all the same page.

I have a lot of love for this lake. Fishing for bass is always a great time here. I’m on my kayak, so the best times to go are early morning before the jet skiers come out to play. A lil’ steep on the Day Use Fee ($20) and $4 extra for kayak use
