Great place, reasonable price and the people are super nice. Michael who picked up our on site trash can was amazing and everyone else was extremely hospitable and made sure we had an amazing and comfortable stay. The grounds are kept super clean and the river is beautiful. Will definitely be returning for future camping adventures.

No rooms but our site was nice enough. The office staff is super nice, and that part was easy. Facilities are not great - showers are not clean. He on-site bar, restaurant and shop are not operational though the sign outside says they are open, they are not. This ground is more of a longer term living site than rental site, which is not a negative. It is right off the expressway so if you are sensitive to noise, the very back of the property on the river is the quietest spot. We stayed 2 nights.

Iv camped and fished hear annually as a child built many memories I'll cherish for life hooking into huge salmon and steelhead while the fishery might be slightly changed or impacted the vibe and memories from this campground is irreplaceable. Iv now brought my kids here to experience some of the memories i had as a child and even with i5 the peace and tranquility of camp kalama is perfect our two dogs over 50 lbs had zero issues store clerk was a sweet older lady showers worked and were hot if ya have the smarts to read the directions and the huge BBQ pit for the grounds worked great for some side smoked ribs only downfall this time around is the dinner and bar were down for remodel. But all around great experience and my family will be back for generations to come
