We stayed at camp lakeview on 7/11-7/13. We had great expectations for camp lakeview based on google reviews and the photos from the website. To our dismay, upon arrival, we learned that it appeared to be run down. After setting up our site and going to sleep for the night we woke up and realized our $100 ice chest had been stolen from right by our front door along with $50 worth of drinks inside. When I notified the office they gave me a sorry and asked for a description. It would have been nice to have been offered some sort of discount or comp’d night since we are guests and anyone and everyone is allowed in and out of camp lakeview.

The staff was very good to us but they double booked us and that really was stressful. We had a large group of over 50 people. They deal with their going to accommodate us because we didn’t get the space we paid for but at the end of the day we didn’t get the space we pay for and our plans change dramatically it made it a challenge for us to enjoy ourselves on the weekend. We still had to pay they offered to give us a discount on the next time we come but at the same time the rates of almost doubled so there’s really no discount.

Nice place to bring my son kayaking. There is no life in that water, so don't get your hopes up for fishing. Very safe Christian environment for my son to play at the park too.
