Just visited over Labor Day weekend, awesome little gem available for military folks. Temperature checks at the main gate prior to entrance, the RV park is easy to find, stay to the "right side" of the base after you enter; billeting office is to the "left side" of main gate. Everything is pretty lit on the base, sensors brighten up area lights as you drive by and buildings such as the laundromat are open 24/7 (washers are 1.50 & dryers 50 cents for 40 minutes; one big washer and dryer for blankets is available). Seems a coffee shop is in place as well as an AAFES post but either these are closed due to COVID or the holiday. There is a potable water refill station by the AAFES store, bring your own coins or small bills for change.

Came here in mid-August coming from the hot valley and it was so refreshing to have some nice mild weather again. Very simple yet peaceful campground with clean, working facilities and neighbors.
Check in was a breeze, and overflow parking was an amazing price to just park the car, pitch a tent, and just enjoy some time for yourself.
My Verizon service was barely usable and there's no wifi, otherwise, I would've given 5 stars.

July 20-23, 2022, I spent a very enjoyable time at the overflow tent camping. As always, the office staff was excellent. The gate guards were very courteous. The chow hall was very reasonable. The days were sunny with temperatures in the 70's during the day and overcast and in the mid-50's at night, perfect for tenting. I look forward to my next visit.
