'Luther' The so called Manager is a shame and totally represents how the store is managed poorely. The manager Luther lied that he is the "General Manager" We bought a inflatable boat at this store location, after filling air for the first time, in just 30 mins it started to deflate. At a point when we realized it was deflated completely. Its a total manufacuring defect and Luther being the so called manager started yelling and wont even give an exchange. According to him i have to deal with manufacturer within 2 weeks of purchase? Why would i go deal with the manufacturer if its under 30 days? Not only this, but Luther started laughing at me ( i guess he felt superior at that point of time). I felt really bad, is this the way a manager should talk to the customer? He asked me if dont stop talking, he would throw me out of the store right at 9 when the store closes? Like really? I dont go to a store so one of your managers would show his superiority and let the customer feel low. He also added that you can come try again tomorrow with somebody else?? Like are you in your senses, do i not have a life and work? You would degrade me and i come again and again to try with another manager? This is how you serve a customer? I am really let down after this incident and would not like to give my business to CANADIAN TIRE any more. I asked for an exchange, but now i just want a refund. Please teach your managers how to behave like managers please.
Adding to that- me asking the manager how can you help me with the exchange, Luther replied, i can help you throw it in the dumpster for you" okay Luther i ll bring it for you to throw away now".
I went to Canadian Tire to buy a new barbeque, I asked pertinent questions. Made my decision. Took the product home. Assembled it. And discovered that it was the wrong barbeque. I called in and was informed that the wrong tag had been placed on the product, but if I wanted to return the BBQ, and pay an extra $500-600 for the model I had been looking at, that the store would waive the assembly fee if I would wait about a week. Canadian Tire did less than the bare minimum it could considering it was their error. I will shop elsewhere from now on. Canadian Tire... where they care about their customer...'s wallets but not about their customers.
* The staff on the floor and the floor managers earned the 1 star, they senior managers and corporate can pound sand.
