This is by far the best pawn shop in the city- friendly, efficient service, fair prices and a clean/organized store. I feel compelled to set the record straight as I’m shocked by all the negative reviews on here! I visited several other pawn shops to get quotes on my jewelry, and Capitol Loans’ quotes were far higher than all the others. In a few cases, their quotes were DOUBLE what other shops were willing to pay. Their employees are knowledgeable and accommodating-they never make me feel uncomfortable like so many pawn shops do. No sketchy vibes and no judgement or attitude. I’m so happy I found a pawn shop close to home! It’s great to have a reliable place to go for some quick cash when emergencies arise!

Got offered $250 for a 2022 laptop that goes $2999 brand new. Terrible customer service. Didn't greet me. Nor talked to me while he was showing me 2017-2018 model laptops that go for $500 on ebay. Toxic place, dont recommend

basic kindness and customer service do not exist here. the attitudes of the employees was so completely arrogant and disrespectful. you’d think you were inside a Gucci store with how full of themselves they act. you will be treated as if you aren’t worthy to be in their presence. i left the place feeling sick to my stomach. if this place is your last resort i suggest practicing meditation beforehand in order to keep self control as you will be talked down to and disrespected.
