I purchased pioneer CarPlay from this store about two years ago. Since then quit working completely three different times. The very first time it was under warranty, ultimately just did something to the wiring and fixed it. The second time it was just about out of warranty, so they said they would just replace the unit. The funny thing is when I went to pick my car up. My cell phone was already paired to this unit. So I’m pretty sure they didn’t replace it. Now it’s out of warranty and the same thing happened, they want to charge me $150 for diagnosing something that has happened three times. when they installed, this Pioneer CarPlay they cut and hacked my dash up so bad that I can’t even put my stock stereo back in. Now I have no blue tooth, no back up camera and no stereo, two of the three are a safety concern. As far as I’m concerned, this should fall under some kind of a lemon law, which I am going to check out.
I have used car toys before the kids who were working there were not even alive when I first bought from Car Toys. Years ago the employees of car toys seem to take pride and what they do and if you had issues with something they installed they were all over it. Nowadays, it’s just not that way.
