I have my uncle residing in one of these caring arms facilities and I cannot be thankful enough for their care and dedication towards my uncle. I can totally rely on Caring Arms and go abroad for my business thinking my uncle is on good hands 🙌
My father-in-law and mother-in-law were moved here about 14 months ago from a large facility in Puyallup. Jean (mother-in-law) was requiring full time dementia care, and Emmett (father-in-law) is a double leg amputee. This was a completely different environment for them and us. During this time, there were some noted problems we discovered. For some staff, English is a secondary language. Emmett has a difficult time communicating with them. Granted, he is hard of hearing and at 95, his mind is a little mixed up also. The food was fair to begin with. It is home cooked every day but they did not understand what elderly Americans are used to eating. The owners are fixing that and is much better now after our suggestions (Emmett approves). The staff provided and treated Jean with much love and care before her passing last Fall. The daily care the residents is very good with 2 care givers. Yes, at night, there is 1 care giver for max 6 residents per state law. Bathing, dressing, medication dispensing, restroom trips are what is to be expected by the staff. But what most people do not expect is that these same people cook, clean and do laundry also. A lot is expected from them and if they do not meet the standards set by the owners they are replaced. What I enjoy the most is the owners are always open to suggestions and comments. Their goal is to treat our loved ones like their own. Open communication is very important to keep the facility running smoothly. I would recommend Caring Arms to anyone who is in need of senior care.
