My mother has been living here for almost two years now and I am very happy and satisfied with the level of care she receives. The manager and owner of Caring Cabin is also a nurse and lives in the cabin (yes, it's a log cabin. A very very nice one.) with her family. She is easy to talk to, compassionate, and understanding. She has routinely gone above and beyond what I would expect whenever necessary. They provide haircuts, nail trimming and all the little things that an older person needs help with. Birthday parties and celebrations at holidays. Barbecues in the summer. Special visits by volunteers and musicians. Excellent food. Daily exercise time. And only six people live there so everyone gets plenty of attention. This is a great place. I am grateful to have found it.
