This place is really friendly. As a tourist I paid a little bit more but there's a whole range of discounts if you're a resident of San Francisco, military veteran, children. There was beautiful art but more importantly this was designed to live in a community and had an entire reading room and space for moms and children to spread out and enjoy comics. And the space was being used I saw at least four moms with kids reading together. They had an all genders bathroom. There is a lovely space to learn and the bookstore had all of the supplies her heart could want as a child to draw comic books. Of comic art was on the walls with children's material, classical cartoons as well as emerging artists. If you enjoy comic books or you need something to do with the kids to calm down this is probably it.

The collection was really interesting and entertaining. The museum is small so it doesn't take long to go through the whole exhibit. The staff was nice and passionate about the vision of the museum. The gift shop is full of treasures, so many good books and art supplies!

We went for the Rocketeer exibit and were not disappointed. Nice little niche museum for us comic nerds!
