Edits to say that even this response from the owner is incorrect. You did not make us feel like we had a choice to be severed the correct items. I am not allergic and therefore took the meal that I was presented with that I was told I ordered, despite knowing I did not. I was not made to feel comfortable to come and tell you that this bowl was not good. Had you been more kind with your response and offered an apology that our order was incorrect we would have gladly paid the difference and got what we actually wanted. Two people cant be having the same "perceived" experience and be wrong.
I visited this evening with a friend to order our favorite dish, the Shasta Bowl. We placed an order for two of these bowls and an extra side of elote sauce. Unfortunately, when we went to pick up our order, we were given completely wrong items.
Despite our clear explanation that the order was incorrect, the woman working there—who I believe was the owner—argued with us. She insisted that we had ordered the wrong items and even suggested that we should have noticed the incorrect charge ourselves (we would have gladly paid the cost difference). Her attitude was condescending, and she dismissed our concerns, including a serious issue with peanut sauce that could have triggered a severe allergy for my friend.
Instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering a simple apology, she became more defensive and rude. She made no effort to rectify the situation, and it was only when we pointed out the allergy issue that we were offered a replacement for my friend. The lack of accountability and courtesy was astonishing.
To make matters worse, other customers witnessed the exchange, which only added to our embarrassment. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a business owner, and the entire experience left a sour taste. I hope they reconsider their approach to customer service moving forward. I would avoid this food truck in the future if I notice that this person is working.
I would also like to note that even though I graciously took the incorrect food items, it was not good. I ate it because I was hungry and felt that I had no other option other than just to eat what I was given and be grateful!
Great spot we found upon looking up gluten-free options in Redmond while visiting. The bowls were delicious - I definitely recommend the Mt Shasta bowl (barbacoa)! Turns out we did not need two large bowls..... We could have split one between the two of us!! This food cart seating area was great as well. ☀️😋
