Krista and crew are life-savers. My plan for the week was to pack the house on Monday, have the house cleaned (by Amazon Home Services) on Tuesday, and have the keys to the landlord on Wednesday.
Well, Amazon Home Services is a horrible thing that I'll never use again. They called me yesterday (Monday) at 3:30 to tell me that they weren't able to come out and would I be ok with NEXT WEEK! Really?
I headed to Yelp at that point and remembered that I'd previously spoken with a lovely woman by the name of Krista. I told her about Amazon and she respectfully said, "Congratulations, let me know if there's anything I can do to help."
Last night(Monday) at about 4pm, I messaged Krista, not really expecting anything. I really was just venting to her and mad at myself for not going with her from the start. I figured she'd hear me complaining and nicely say, "better luck next time."
Instead, she says that she can be at my house in an hour. Luckily for me, her son's baseball got rained out and she just wanted to help.
Of course I tripped over myself to say yes. I was ready for her and her crew to come by and maybe spend 30 minutes on my place and again wish me luck. That's where, again, I WAS WRONG!
They were so caring that, although it was late, they didn't leave until they felt the job was completed. There was such attention to detail and exacting standards. They smiled, laughed, and joked throughout the whole experience.
Because they came out last night, I'm actually a day ahead. I can relax today.
The house was so beautiful (better looking than when we moved in).
And the price was competitive to Amazon's.
I felt compelled to hug them all but felt it would be odd for a stranger to hug three women.
I wish you so much success in work and life. Thank you again for saving my life and taking some of the stress of moving away.
Amazing doesn't even sum up the job you did.
