Love the facility and team! People who post negative reviews should contact the business directly, not publicly harass or shame them with cruelty. Cascade is the best!! Thank you for caring for my family

Agreeing with the other reviews.. I wanted to like this place but couldn’t.. My provider seemed like she was in a rush, literally it was in and out. Please do yourself a favor and look into another facility, even if it is a longer wait. I will probably give this place another try but hopefully I’ll be able to see a different provider.

Things went well initially with this clinic.Dr. Dahlhauser was polite and direct I thought after my first pre-surgical visit. It went quickly. But I remembered a day or two later that I had failed to mention i needed a hard surface to lay on and a lumbar pillow for my multiple back problems, like my two broken backs on my L-2 vertebra. And other back problems and the associated pain I experience. I called at that time. I spoke to a woman staff member over the phone and explained my concerns. Requested a high density foam rubber lumber pillow so I could lay down comfortably on the surgical bed. Then I waited. For weeks I heard nothing, so I called back when I received reminders about the upcoming surgery. So I texted the request again on “Klara” their message system. Nothing again until days before the surgery I called them. That is when it all went wrong. I was told an order for the pillow was too costly. I said I would pay for one to a nurse. But they wanted to proceed without out it. Since this surgery was going to be done without anesthesia I didn’t want to go until the nurse finally convinced me to show up anyway and they would figure something out. I suggested maybe rolling towels up and tapering them together. Then I hung up. I thought the surgery was a “go!”. Then a day or so later I got a message from “Klara” saying my surgery was canceled. I messaged back several angry messages. The reason they gave for cancellation was “a lack of transportation “ . Which wasn’t accurate. Days later I got a call from an eye technician who said I’d been discharged. Nothing more was said. It’s like it didn’t all go sideways. I’m very disappointed I had begged VA for wheelchair transport for this “urgent surgery to remove a cataract so I could see. VA complied with my request and had scheduled the transportation. I had in fact talked with my doctor that I had transportation and a woman at the desk and a pre-surgical appointment call as well. They knew! But refused to change their minds. So I’m out of the two months time I waited for the surgery and $50.00 for pre-surgical eye drops I was made to pay in advance of surgery. It wasn’t a good experience and now I have probably a few more months waiting time to get the surgery somewhere else. And I doubt VA will ever provide me transportation like this again to a civilian doctor. Very disappointed by my experience here.
