Technician showed-up as-agreed providing us with the requested notice just prior to his arrival. He set up a mat if front of the fireplace to catch any debris from the job. He disassembled our fireplace, thoroughly cleaned all of its components and reassembled everything adjusting the flame height, added new embers and cleaned the glass. He was a young man who I could have an intelligent conversation with regarding the fireplace, our fireplace-related problem, its possible cause(s) and the probable solution to it turning itself off by itself after 16 years of faithful, trouble-free service. It now looks and runs like new. The flame height is perfect, the new embers glow like it did when it was new and the new embers once again give it that finished look. The glass is spotless. If you haven't had your fireplace serviced in awhile I can highly recommend Cascade, and the service itself.

The Cascade Fire Solutions team did an excellent job repairing and cleaning our gas fireplace. I reached out and was assisted by Ashly, she was friendly and was able to get us an appointment quickly. The technicians that came out were knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Our freestanding Jotul gas stove wasn't lighting across all the burners. Within a minute of looking at it (not touching it or turning it on), the tech Daryl announced it was "jacked up" and the whole unit needed to be replaced. When pressed for more information, it was difficult to get a straight answer but cited a split in the manufacturers venting assembly inside the stove. None of this added up to me, knowing the history of the stove and that there were no outward signs of any damage or improper combustion. I got a second opinion from a very reputable company and was told absolutely nothing was wrong with the stove other than a little air in the line (in fact it was lighting fine at this point) and this was actually the 9th second opinion he had given on Cascade Fire Solutions work. I believe Cascade Fire Solutions is an unethical company that is committing fraud, playing off people's (completely reasonable) fear of being without a heat source and/or combustible fuels in their home, and selling them very expensive products they don't need.
