Really beautiful setting here, the new bridge is awesome and really fits in the scenery well, rusty and unpainted. The fire scarred trees from the huge Eagle Creek fire inspires awe and sadness at the same time. This campground is gorgeous, nestled in the huge fir trees, cool and just beautiful. We didn't use the campground but it was nearly full - we did use the restroom, pit toilets but they didn't smell horrible, just ultimately grateful there was a public restroom!! Please leave better than when you came, pick up your stuff and any other bits of garbage you might come across, we saw nothing left behind anywhere, grateful people care for our natural sites so well. Day use fee is $5.00, unsure about the camping fee, there is a self pay station on site in the campground.
