As mentioned by others; do not judge a book by its cover. We booked in for +/-$100 for the night, with a dog. On booking and check in the owners/staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room was a King. The entire room was recently redone, and has with a good mattress and a great shower. The room was spotless with good towels and bedding.There’s a decent desk, a small fridge and bit of coffee for the morning. Overall a pleasant sleep.

The dog run is along the side of the parking area near a stream; there are bags for those in need; to keep things clean.

The exterior needs some work as it does look run down. They could use some ash trays and a few more chairs outside, as well as do something with the parking. You need to back out and up the side of the hotel to leave.

There is a grocery, coffee shops and pizza joint in the same area but we’d recommend checking open and closing times/days.
