The check in process left little to be desired. I booked online for a massage. I received a text to say I was all booked for that day. Then another one to say my room was ready (30 minutes early). Then a missed phone call 5 minutes after that. Then another phone call 5 minutes later - again to tell me my room was ready and wondering when I would be arriving... I was driving there in a open-air golf cart so I could barely hear her. I was 10 minutes early to my scheduled appointment time! I felt so rushed and it made for a very frazzled start. Walking in was not spa like in any way. It was cramped in the hallway and I felt uncomfortable with the managers demeanor upon arrival. Then I was told to lay face down before meeting my therapist which was awkward. I was told to leave my jeans on (it was a back massage) but that's not very relaxing or comfortable. I should be allowed a choice.
Regardless of the poor start, my therapist was wonderful. She stayed in communication with me and really helped work out my terribly knotted shoulder. She was very sweet.
