Went in for a drink. Owner was clearly drunk and told us about ten times he was the owner. He almost spilled our drinks on two of us when he decided to “help” the server. He then he proceeded to have a very pubic discussion with the server about how she wasn’t working. (As far as we could tell she she was only gone for about 5 minutes in the hour we were there, still should not have been don’t behind the bar for all patrons to see). He then proceeded to fire her in front of everyone. We got out and walked out with her.

I found this place before I even traveled to WA and made a point to visit.

The atmosphere is really cool and relaxing. The bartender/mixologist was SUPER knowledgeable and even let my fiance try different spirits he wasn't sure of.

If you're in the area definitely try it out!

Cease and Desist, with its unassuming entrance marked by a bookshelf, instantly transported us from a bustling street corner into a cozy, welcoming hideaway. The drinks were nothing short of perfection, with the only challenge being deciding which of the menu’s offerings is the best.

We were lucky enough to have Ben as our bartender. It doesn’t take long to realize that he’s one of the most talented mixologists you’ll ever meet. If Cease and Desist were a real book club, you know it would be good—they'd only read banned books.
