I cannot believe how absolutely incredible the people at Celestron are! I went to their facility with my non-working NextStar 8SE and, even though I didn't have an appointment, and they ushered me right in.
They were so patient and respectful as I explained the issue and how desperate I was get it working again (I had several astronomy outreach events coming up). Hector, who works in the repair dept, was able to get the scope running in just a few short hours and back out I went.
Unfortunately something else was also occurring with my scope and it stopped working again. I was able to call Hector and explain what I was seeing on my hand controller and he immediately said Celestron would take care of it ASAP. They sent me a new mount to replace the defective one and now, with their amazing help, everything is working perfectly!
I was very happy with my Celestron experience - the company makes a good product, their staff is super helpful and they went above-and-beyond in their customer service. Whenever I decide to replace my NextStar 8SE, it definitely will be with another Celestron telescope.

I'm pretty sure the 5 star reviews on here are fake.
