Popular park & photography area running along both sides of a canal with a covered bridge.

Okay scenery to take pictures of the family but a lot of homeless roaming around and belongings at random

Bum park is still accurate, trash park could be an alternative moniker. Came for an early morning stroll - friendly stranger warned me not to come at night. Lots of birds, and lots more trash -at least it would entertain your dog.

Ok so I lived 4 year here in bakersfield and always stayed on the river walk park side. The only bad thing here is to many homelessness staying in the park. But there is good places for pictures here
