Made a special trip to DD today to celebrate Cinco de Mayo at Centrico, one of the brand new restaurants. We are regulars to Disney and have been waiting a long time for the opening. We were blown away! The wait wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes. We admired the theming and decor while waiting and really enjoyed the vibe. The entire experience was fantastic! The entire wait staff were friendly, but I have to call out our server Alex as being the most pleasant, friendly, authentic, and knowledgeable server that I think we've ever had. Thank you Alex for making our first experience even all that more enjoyable.
Now, on to the food. We started with classic margaritas and the Tuna Tiradito for an appetizer. Very delicious and the appetizer was light and flavorful. For our meal, we had the Quesabirrias quesadilla and the Carne Asada tacos. The Quesabirrias being made with lamb was very unique and absolutely amazing! The corn tortillas were clearly fresh and a unique mixture of different kinds of corn masa which shined through the dish. The Carne Asada was very flavorful and juicy as well. Everything was amazing! Our "dessert" was a second round of drinks, the Coco-Rocas and a Ritual Margarita. OMG, these were both amazing! We will definitely return. Thanks again to Alex for the wonderful experience!
