Century Health Services

This was the WORST experience I have ever had. They made promises they could not keep. NEVER paid on time, and I even heard other nurses bad mouthing the agency from the moment I stated the agency I had chosen to work for. The office staff were unprofessional and rude. I called and spoke with Rose at one location, then a Fabyen at another, then another person handled all my paperwork. I had to email, fax and bring in paperwork numerous times before my packet was complete. I never got a straight answer. I was told my income was not taxable, then I was told by the IRS that ALL income had to be reported. The aprartments they claimed to have for me was FILTHY and in a run down area of town. I had to pay a pet deposit that was not refundable, sign a new lease under my name when the company promised me the apartment. Then they promised FULLY furnished, yet there was no TV, no dishes, no towels, nothing that a fully furnish apartment should have to make a nurse comfortable away from home. THEN, the orientation was underpaid time. There was no transportation, and no one to tell me where I needed to go. They never told me I needed a certain color for my scrubs and to top it all off, all the staff I started working with were all fired, quit or laid off. This company can not get their stuff together. I heard rumors that they have a bad reputation with numerous hospitals, and DNR orders at most hospitals they were working for. To me, this is not the kind of agency I want to represent me. For the money I can make, this is not the agency for me. Do your homework, and make them provide all the proof of a furnished apartment first. I would ask for my money up front with these guys. Other agencies made promises that they kept. NOT 1 promise was kept with Century. I was not impressed with the lack of good customer service. Do your homework on these guys.
