This is a huge park with many various activities for kids and adults to do. But what I hate most and never look forward to when visiting this park is trying to find parking. There's just not enough spaces and if you're lucky enough to find an open spot, chances are you're parked far away from where you need to be. Walking from one side of the park to the other feels like an eternity. If you're attending the annual recital where the carnies milk the parents and grandparents with overpriced carnival rides, good luck with parking.

On Tuesday 6/14/22 I was targeted and followed by a group of young men into the women's restroom. The restroom right next to the park office. The young men entered the bathroom kicked the stall door multiple times and then attempted to yank the door open. In fear for my life I screamed and called my husband who was in the car outside. The young men ran out but waited outside. When my husband confronted them I was told by park staff that I had to leave because the perpetrators were minors. I am the victim and park staff protected the "kids" who looked of age. My privacy was violated. The city of Cerritos protected the attackers and I the victim was told to leave.

This is an awesome place to coach soccer. The staff is wonderful. The only issue I have at all is that large portions of the fields are just dirt. The rest of the park is lovely.
