The quality of ingredients is very good. However, I have never had Mexican food worse than this. It was bland and lackluster. Safe to eat, but would definitely rather spend my money elsewhere.

terrible food- i ordered a veg burrito no rice with their chickpea veggie side. i received a tortilla with beans and rice and a side of brisket something. awful. service was great though and the salsas were both very spicy.

Food has the promise of being tasty... but the carnitas were drenched in grease and poorly trimmed. Huge chunks were inedible with fat, veins, and other sinew. We asked for no rice, extra beans... We got rice and beans. Chips were fine. Salsa was OK. The food must have somehow spilled in our bag between the counter and a table in the concourse because grease was soaked through immediately and it left a huge puddle on the table. Either that or the molten pig fat permeated the cardboard clamshel like it was tissue paper. No way to know without eating there again and with so many options at PDX that is unlikely to happen. Washed my hands up to the elbows to rid myself of the sheen of carnitas when I was done. Jay had stomache distress afterwards and wanted me to rate this even lower than I did.
