Extremely unorganized, the front desk ladies were great but Dr. Spener didn't know why I was there. I told him I couldn't take any anti depressants because of a thyroid issue which was the reason for my visit. He walks into the room and says " you're here for anxiety?" And then insists on prescribing and anti depressant. He didn't listen to me at all and didn't even look at my chart to see why I was visiting. For some reason no one in the office wants to give him this feedback so I'm leaving it in a review. The number one skill a pcp should have is active listening. Very disappointed with my experience at this Chaz in particular. I had great experiences in spokane.

My first appointment and I will not be returning. The nurse that took me to my room and did initial intake was AWESOME. I wish I remembered her name. Awesome bed side manner, did not interrupt me while I was speaking or explaining anything. Things changed drastically after the physician came into my room. She asked another battery of questions similar to the nurse; HOWEVER, she interrupted me multiple times while I was trying to explain symptoms or situations that exacerbated my symptoms......ALL TO MOVE ON TO THE NEXT QUESTION. I understand they are busy and have to get to the next patient, but this kind of treatment is COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. Also, she did not listen to my primary complaint and prescribed me something that was the exact opposite of what I needed. She gave me misinformation about the use of the medication just so she could prescribe what she wanted. Makes me wonder if they are getting kickbacks.

Super accommodating and professional, although I have an issue with the policy about waiting 15 minutes after COVID shot/booster. Never had a reaction and at other appointments do not have to wait. policy is VERY annoying and disappointed they can't see a way around this.
New addition to post after CHAS response: Although CHAS my have an abundance of caution about my health, threatening me with calling the police if I leave before the 15 minute period is not only unethical, I don't believe it is legal. Patients should understand the 15 minute monitoring is voluntary and no police will be involved if the guideline is not followed. I'm downgrading my rating based on this.
